CapeFearNational_white typeTheGolfDirector.com and Tee It Up Grand Strand welcomes Cape Fear National Golf Course to the network.  As the newest course built between the Grand Strand and Wilmington area, and part of the Kemper Golf family, this is one course you will want to play.  If you are coming in from the north, catch it on your way in AND out, and if you are from south of the area, make a trip – you will not be disappointed.  Only 45 minutes from the Myrtle Beach area and 5 miles south of downtown Wilmington makes it accessible anytime during your trip.  Brad Walker, Director of Marketing, shares with our host, Shan Coughlin and you, all the reasons to make Cape Fear a part of your next package.

Cape Fear National ~ Number 9Located in a housing development with the purpose of selling real estate, it is maintained like a private facility.  Nestled in the 4,500 acre master planned community of Brunswick Forest, once on the course, you will be hard pressed to think you are anywhere but paradise.  With numerous waste bunkers, water features (OK hazards if we must use that word) and trees of all flavors, the beauty of the course surrounds you.  There is plenty of wildlife around too, so don’t look too deeply for that ball.  Tim Cate, Architecht of Cape Fear, when asked what he feels sets this course apart had this to say:

“Detail application both on the golf course and in the areas that surround the golf course. I started as a landscape architect, which helps me to present the golf course and the areas that surround the golf course in a very sophisticated upscale manner. Many of the hazard areas are aesthetically pleasing, featuring colorful plants and native grasses. The course features over 1,500 linear feet of bridges, three separate waterfalls, several ponds, strategically placed rock walls, drive-through sand waste areas, beach bunkers that run into the ponds and over 1.5 million cubic yards of earth were moved to design Cape Fear National. The Cypress marsh also frames a couple of the holes on the back nine.”

The best way to enjoy Cape Fear National is as part of a golf package but they also welcome walk in rounds and are part of the Platinum Card Membership group which offers specials to card holders and up to three guests.   For more information on Cape Fear Golf Club, click on their link to the right here at TheGolfDirector.com or call them direct at 910-383-3283 or chat with us right now by clicking the Chat Now button.
